The Cascada AN-water System is fed with partially purified water. The unit produces extremely high ultrapure water for critical laboratory applications suitable for all analytical and pharmaceutical applications.

The concentrations of ions in the product water are extremely low.

A Cascada AN-water System was fed with water from a Cascada RO-water System with a conductivity of 42 µS/cm and a TOC of 50 ppb C. The unit was operated intermittently and product water dispensed to simulate typical use patterns. Samples were taken at intervals and analyzed for anions using a Dionex DX500 ion chromatograph and for elements by quadruple and high resolution magnetic sector ICP-MS. The analysis was carried out by Balazs Analytical Services (Fremont, CA, USA).
