Continuous Product Development
The technical experience that Pall has achieved over decades of experience is a major factor for our success. Combining the latest material developments with computer aided design technology ensures the best possible solution is provided through products that meet the Total Cleanliness Control needs of the Automotive industry into the 21st Century.
- Ultipor 'Coreless' Filters - Ultipor disposable filter elements in standard or Coreless configurations offer long service life with well defined performance characteristics.
Pall Coreless elements utilise Ultipor media and can minimise waste by extending fluid life, reducing the frequency of element disposal, and reducing material handling costs.
- Profile Filters - Profile filters are designed for use in applications such as grinding, honing, parts washing, and sheet metal forming, where fluid cleanliness is critical to surface finish and overall product quality.
Compatible with most coolants, washing fluids, water and fuels, Profile products offer a wide range of filtration performance specific to operating needs with optimum economy.
- Monitors - Pall Cleanliness Monitors provide trend monitoring of fluid cleanliness levels quickly and with the minimum of operator intervention. A range of portable units will analyse mineral oils, water glycols and most synthetic and washing fluids and export results to supporting software for analysis.
- Pall Backwash Systems - provide capabilities for the removal of heavy dirt loadings in fluid systems used for metal working, steel rolling and parts washing applications.
Pall are able to utilise a range of materials in defined filter media structures to meet the variety of application needs. Backwash systems allow for automatic self-cleaning of the filter elements and the separation of the heavy dirt loading for greater economy and less waste.
Where it was previously uneconomic to achieve cleaner fluids for improved product quality or performance, Pall Backwash systems now provide users with an economic solution.
- Pall Ultrafiltration Systems - will reduce oily wastewater volumes by up to 95% by concentrating emulsified oils and suspended solids enabling the clarified water to be discharged to drain.
As part of a programme for waste minimisation and fluid recycling opportunities, the Pall UF systems have a wide range of application benefits.
- Last Chance Filters - provide local protection to sensitive components. Available from a standard range or manufactured to suit customer specifications.

Automotive producers also rely on Pall products in their manufacturing process to produce a consistent, high quality paint product. High throughput filter medium like the Pall Profile® II and Ultipleat™ Profile® filters increase uptime and lower costs.
Consumers have become much more demanding when it comes to automotive finishes. To ensure a defect-free coating on automobiles and trucks, manufacturers also depend on Pall Profile® II and Ultipleat™ Profile® filters. Contaminants, including particulates, fibers, and agglomerated paint are removed from the paint formulations, producing an exceptionally smooth, quality finish.
To maintain optimal efficiency, many critical components require air passage in and out of confined areas and protection from moisture and debris. Pall also supplies the automotive industry with venting membranes which permit air to pass in and out during heating and cooling cycles, while protecting the components from outside elements.
Our venting membranes are used to keep headlamp pressure equalized and dry during operation, windshield and window electric motors free from dust and debris, and anti-lock braking systems protected from moisture and overheating.
