Fluorodyne® EX filters are high-throughput filters, available in a number of grades. The filters feature a unique combination of an upstream layer polyethersulfone (PES) over a polyvinylidenedifluoride (PVDF) membrane(s). The cartridges are constructed with Ultipleat® technology combined with the narrow core for maximum filter area, high performance and smaller filtration systems which allows easy integration into Allegro™ Single-use Systems. |

Fluorodyne® EX Filters Grade EDF
Fluorodyne EX Grade EDF filter cartridges are high-flow, high-capacity sterilizing-grade filters that can be steamed under wet or dry conditions. The filters have been optimized for performance with a built-in proprietary polyethersulfone (PES) prefilter over a polyvinylidenedifluoride (PVDF) membrane. Cartridges are constructed with Ultipleat® technology to yield higher flow rates and maximize throughput. These filters are suitable for the filtration of a wide range of fluids including buffers, biological fluids, tissue culture media and ophthalmic products.Where a filter style is ‘ticked’ below, this filter media is currently available in that style. Fluorodyne® EX Grade EDT filters are highly retentive mycoplasma control filters to be used where the economical sterility assurance of culture media or other hard-to-filter fluids is paramount. A unique, three-layer construction contributes to outstanding throughput, high flow-rates and the retention of bacteria and mycoplasma during the filtration of process fluids.
