highly purified natural and modified cellulose fibers and contain no inorganic materials such as diatomaceous earth (DE), perlite or glass fibers. The lack of these inorganic substances significantly reduces the levels heavy metal extractables.
Seitz® K-Series Depth Filter Sheets
Seitz K-Series depth filter sheets are considered a general purpose family of depth filter sheets that are comprised of a balanced composition of cellulosic fibers, diatomaceous earth, and perlite, which enables the creation of a well-defined matrix. Appropriate for many applications less sensitive to ions (such as: Ca, Fe, Al). Those applications requiring decreased levels of extractable ions should reference Seitz P-Series, HP-Series or Bio-Series depth filter sheets.
Seitz® T-Series Depth Filter Sheets
Seitz T-Series depth filter sheets are made from unique combinations of cellulose fibers, diatomaceous earth and perlite. These sheets cover a range of coarse filtration
enabling them to be used to remove the largest of contaminants.
SUPRAdisc™ AKS Carbon Impregnated Depth Filter Modules
The use of bulk Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC) has significant drawbacks relating to the handling of bulk carbon powder, cleaning of process equipment, and time (costs) associated with carbon removal from the process. SUPRAdisc AKS filter media alleviates these concerns by immobilizing activated carbon within a matrix of cellulosic fibers, which is coupled with a downstream filter paper that eliminates any possible particle shedding.
Pall’s filter sheets meet the specifications set forth in the US Code of Federal Regulations Title 21, parts 177.2260 e, f, g, h, i, j, k, l, the materials for all plastic components are listed in US Code of Federal Regulations Title 21, part 177.1520. The Quality Management System of Pall has been certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 by TÜV Cert (Certification Office TÜV Rheinland, Sicherheit und Umweltschutz GmbH).
