Pall® Velapad filter housings have an advanced biopharmaceutical design tailored for superior scale-up and scale-down testing of single and multi layer media under consideration for use in manufacturing processes. These versatile housings utilize high quality biopharmaceutical-grade components manufactured from 316L stainless steel. State-of-the-art manufacturing technologies are used to construct a housing in a convenient format for fast and easy customized testing of single and multilayer depth filter sheets. Instead of depending on capsules that may or may not provide the exact media and component configuration for an optimized testing environment, Velapad filter housings allow users to mix and match sheets into an optimized testing configuration for a specific application.Features and Benefits

Options

- Cake filtration/carbon-trap studies*
Dry filter aid can be added into a process batch, stirred into a slurry, then pumped onto depth filter sheets as part of a cake study. The sheet then acts as a barrier to facilitate normally difficult studies involving process material and carbon-fines.
