Multi-well Filter Plates

Pall was the first to market with filter plate technology and continues to stay at the forefront of high throughput sample prep with a broad line filter plate platforms.

  • AcroPrep™ Advance filter plates are the newest addition to Pall’s filter plate family. New sealing technology and advanced tip design make these the first choice in critical sample prep applications such as multiplexing and neonatal screening.
  • AcroWell™ filter plates with dual layer construction are ideal for parallel or automated nucleic acid and protein detection applications.
  • AcroPrep 384-well filter plates, available with a variety of membranes, are excellent for use in high throughput sample prep applications.

AcroPrep Features

AcroPrep Advance:

  • New well design and sealing technology: Increases well-to-well consistency and minimizes sample weeping during incubations.
  • Redesigned outlet tips: Minimize the formation of hanging drops, reducing the chance of cross contamination following filtration.
  • No cross talk: Individually sealed membranes eliminate the possibility of sample cross contamination.
  • 100% Inspection: Each plate is visually inspected for complete membrane sealing and ensures well is free of debris.

All Pall Filter Plates:

  • Automation friendly: Designed in accordance with the ANSI/SBS standards. Rigid construction enables the plates to be easily maneuvered by robotic equipment and assures that the plates do not flex and jam detectors or other instrumentation.
  • Broad selection to suit your application: Available in 96- or 384-well formats with a variety of single- and multi-layer membranes, plate color choices, well volumes, and outlet tip lengths for use in a multitude of sample preparation and detection processes.

AcroPrep or AcroWell Filter Plate... What's the Difference?

AcroPrep Filter Plate Design
AcroWell Filter Plate DesignMembranes are individually cut, placed, and sealed in the wells. Plates can be used in both filtrate and retentate-based applications. Plates have either long or short fluid directors to direct the flow of the filtrate without cross-contamination. Proprietary sealing process allows flexibility in sealing a wide range of membrane both single and multiple layers.

Available in a wide range of configurations to meet the requirements of various sample preparation applications including multiplexing, neonatal screening and lysate clarification.

AcroWell Filter Plate Design
AcroWell Filter Plate DesignConstructed of two membrane layers - the bottom layer of membrane protects the upstream membrane and acts as a barrier to passive flow. Designed for use in retentate-based applications such as hybridization-based binding assays and time resolved fluorescence (TRF). Plate and membrane construction allows extended or elevated-temperature incubations without solution weeping and crosstalk.
