Ion-Exchange Chromatography Sorbents

Pall provides a complete range of ion exchange chromatography sorbents that answer protein capture, purification and polishing challenges.

NEW   HyperCel STAR CEX Sorbent
A cation exchange sorbent for high productivity protein capture and impurity removal at moderate salt conductivity (2-12 mS/cm). Its flexibility in use contributes to maintain sample volumes as low as possible in limiting sample diafiltration or dilution and elution volume.

HyperCel STAR AX Salt-Tolerant Anion Exchange Chromatography Sorbent
Flexible, “salt-tolerant” anion exchanger for capture, intermediate or polishing steps in protein purification. HyperCel STAR AX “salt tolerant” anion exchange chromatography sorbent directly captures target proteins from various feedstocks (cell culture, plasma) with high dynamic binding capacity at conductivities up to 15 mS/cm, contributing to better process flexibility and economics. Time consuming unit operations such as dilution or diafiltration can be eliminated, while improving process throughput. 

Q, DEAE and CM Ceramic HyperD® F Sorbents
Ceramic HyperD® 'gel-in-a-shell' sorbents are rigid, non-compressible sorbents with excellent pressure/flow characteristics that operate two to five times faster than conventional soft gels, and significantly increase the speed and throughput of ion-exchange chromatography steps.

The sorbents are also available in  PRC 1 mL and 5 mL prepacked columns for screening or small preparative and in ScreenExpert RoboColumns and AcroPrep ScreenExpert 96-well filter plates, for high throughput chromatography sorbent screening and optimization.

Mixed-Mode Chromatography Sorbents

Mixed-mode or multi-mode chromatography exploits different ligand-protein interaction mechanisms and provide new selectivitites  for protein separations, different from ion- exchange or hydrophobic interaction chromatography. The Pall® mixed-mode sorbent family includes MEP HyperCel™, HEA HyperCel™ and PPA HyperCel™ sorbents, based on robust synthetic ligands immobilized on an industry-scalable matrix. They provide innovative selectivities for protein purification.

NEW  CMM HyperCel sorbent
A scalable cation exchange mixed mode sorbent for high performance capture and impurity removal at moderate salt conductivity. The sorbent exhibits high capacities, efficient impurity removal in MAbs purification and an ability to separate molecules with close isoelectric points and hydrophobicity. Negatively charged, CMM HyperCel sorbent is the direct complement to MEP, HEA, PPA HyperCel hydrophobic sorbents which elute by positive charge repulsion.

MEP HyperCel™ Chromatography Sorbent
MEP HyperCel™ sorbent is immunoglobulin-selective and can be applied for capture or intermediate purification of monoclonal antibodies.
