Anaesthesia Gas Delivery System
Volatile anaesthetic (VA) agents have been used reliably for decades to sedate patients in anaesthesia. Due to their unique pharmacokinetics and low metabolisation rates, some clinicians now also use them as sedatives for intensive care patients.
The MIRUS System builds on these acknowledged benefits. It is an electronically controlled anaesthesic gas delivery system which can be used in all common ventilation circuits. It measures all required ventilation parameters independently to achieve and maintain the target VA level set by the user.
MIRUS Controllers are available in agent specific variants, with clear colour coding and keyed filling mechanisms.
