Pall's Cord Blood Products On-Call For ABC's Private Practice

Pall's products for the sterile collection of cord blood and for cord blood cell wash/infusion were purchased by the producers of the ABC-TV program Private Practice for the delivery room scene in the season premier that was broadcast on October 1, 2008. Part of the story line included a caesarean birth that was performed to deliver a premature baby and to capture cord blood to treat the family’s ill son.

Private Practice centers on the lives and practice of medical school friends, including a fertility and hormone specialist, who work at the chic Oceanside Wellness Center in Santa Monica.

The producers expressed interest in the:
