As a technical organisation independent from commercial activities within Pall, our network of scientists provide objective technical guidance founded on scientific principles and extensive experience of filter media and medical device performance characterisation.  

Our scientists are involved in new product development from the testing of prototype devices and membranes and making recommendations for improvement through to validation of performance claims and support of regulatory submissions. Because of this involvement throughout the lifecycle of our products from development through to the end user our scientists are uniquely placed to partner with customers to gain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of all aspects of an application. This partnership enables us to validate our devices and membranes to provide new solutions and also problem solve where there are specific application issues or where there is something more peripheral impacting on performance.

Our laboratories can offer testing of our devices and membranes to industry recognised standards or to bespoke protocols that meet exact requirements.  We can provide testing on-site or simulate specific applications at one of our laboratories around the globe.
