Pall Point-of-Use (POU) Water Filters can be used as part of a water management program as an additional control measure to aid in reducing patient exposure to waterborne pathogens, particularly in areas where vulnerable and immunocompromised users may come into contact with water.

Pall Medical Point-of-Use Water Filter Solutions

Pall Point-of-Use Disposable Water Filters provide an immediate barrier against waterborne pathogens including Legionella and Pseudomonas spp. Pall-Aquasafe™ and Pall QPoint® Disposable Water Filters contain 0.2 micron sterilizing grade­ filter membranes and provide water suitable for washing and drinking*, superficial wound cleansing, cleaning of equipment used in medical procedures and washing of surgeons’ hands. Pall-Aquasafe and Pall QPoint Disposable Water Filters are FDA 510(k) cleared Medical Devices.

Pall-Aquasafe Disposable Water Filters

• Up to 31 days use
  
• Double layer 0.2 µm sterilizing-grade Supor® membrane is validated to ASTM F838-15a
• Packaged and labelled in an Environmental Protection Agency-registered establishment
  
• 100% integrity  and leak tested at manufacturing
• Filter capsules and disposable water filters are provided sterile
• Compatible with continuous use at up to 140 °F  at 75 psi inlet pressure. Maximum operating conditions: 158 °F  for a total cumulative period of 30 minutes over the lifetime of the filter at up to 75 psi
  
• Compatible with commonly used surface disinfectants such as active chlorine, iso-propyl alcohol, quaternary ammonium compounds, benzyl ammonium chlorides, and non-ionic surfactants

Pall QPoint Water Filter Assemblies and Pall QPoint Disposable Water Filters

• Up to 62 days of use
• Double layer 0.2 µm sterilizing-grade Supor® membrane is validated to ASTM F838-15a
• Packaged and labelled in an Environmental Protection Agency-registered establishment
  
• Reusable docking station available for faucet and shower as part of the QPoint Water Filter Assembly
  
• 100% integrity and leak tested at manufacturing
• Filter capsules and disposable water filters are provided sterile
  
• The unique single unit packaging allows easy installation and handling, reducing the risk of inadvertent contamination of the filter outlet
• Compatible with continuous use at up to 140° F  at 75 psi inlet pressure. Maximum operating conditions: 167 °F  for a total cumulative period of 90 minutes over the lifetime of the filter at up to 75 psi
  
• Compatible with commonly used surface disinfectants such as active chlorine, iso-propyl alcohol, quaternary ammonium compounds, benzyl ammonium chlorides, and non-ionic surfactants

The high technology integrated pre-filtration layer delivers exceptional particulate trapping capacity with good flow rates, and protects the proven double layer sterilizing-grade membranes enabling long performance life.

Pall Point-of-Use Water Filters retain fungi, protozoa and bacteria such as Legionella spp., Pseudomonas spp., non-tuberculous mycobacteria and Escherichia coli without volume restriction. A combination of technologies within the filter housing minimizes the risk of retrograde contamination over the life of the product.

Pall Point-of-Use Water Filters are considered to be pesticide devices under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) and accordingly, such products are manufactured, packaged and labelled in an Environmental Protection Agency-registered establishment.
