In the United States, the number of cases of Legionnaires’ disease reported to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has been on the rise and has grown by nearly nine times since 20001. Legionnaires’ disease is likely underdiagnosed, and this number may underestimate the true incidence.
We talk a lot about Legionella with water hygiene, but there are other waterborne pathogens that can affect public and residential facilities, including:
