Centrisep® Engine Advanced Protection System (EAPS) for Eurocopter AS330, AS332, EC225, and EC725, and Denel Oryx Series Helicopters

Fit and Forget Engine Protection

The “fit and forget” Centrisep Engine Advanced Protection System (EAPS) for the Eurocopter AS330/332 and Denel Oryx series of helicopters is an ideal solution for challenging environments. The system shields the engine inlet from airborne contamination, which results in:
  • Safer operation by protecting against sand and dust, foreign object damage (FOD), ice, and snow
  • Increased operational availability
  • Protection against engine erosion
  • Increased time between overhauls
Many of the Puma, Super Puma, and Cougar fleets currently in service around the world are fitted with Centrisep EAPS.

The latest design of the AS332 EAPS consists of two modules with forward facing, pneumatically operated bypass doors.

Maintenance

The Centrisep EAPS is a “fit and forget” system;  there are no inlet barrier filters to replace or clean. As with all aircraft equipment, routine visual inspection is recommended.  In case of damage, please refer to the Component Maintenance, available through Pall Aerospace.

For additional information about this product, please contact your local Pall representative.

The Pall Centrisep EAPS solution is an environmentally friendly alternative to oil-wetted barrier filters. There is no filter replacement and no daily cleaning as with oil-based solutions, which are difficult and expensive to dispose of.
