Pall HR-160 Alloy

Pall’s new nonwoven fiber metal filters are made from the HR-160 nickel-based alloy from Haynes International, Kokomo, Ind. They are primarily used for melt filtration. What’s new? The filters, which Pall began marketing to the plastics industry over the last several months. An alternative to stainless steels and other alloys, the HR-160 alloy is now available for nearly all standard filter configurations. Benefits Fine filtration from 2 to 200 microns and reliable performance, even in very corrosive environments. With the HR-160 alloy, the filters can stand up to very harsh substances and high temperatures, saving users costs by extending product life and reducing downtime.
