SUPRApak™ L-Series-SA Systems

The new SUPRApak filter systems provide a turn-key filtration solution utilizing patented SUPRApak technology, which will revolutionize depth filtration applications in the food and beverage industry and provide a cost-effective alternative to classical sheet filtration.

• The basic SUPRApak L-Series-WA housing, supplied with surrounding piping and standard accessories forms the complete L-Series-SA package system ready for filtration
• Housing accommodates 1 to 6 SUPRApak depth filter modules, which represents up to 60 m² of effective filtration area
• Modular construction, featuring single or multi-segment sections provides flexibility
• Large, hydrodynamically designed inlet and outlet connections minimize pressure drop
• Dual inlet connections on sizes exceeding 2 modules high minimizes product mixing zones
• External tensioning device with preset torque limit provides secure operation without bypass
• Quick release vee band housing closure with integral safety device simplifies
  and safeguards handling
• Filter module lifting device eases filter installation and removal
• Design satisfies EC Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 97/23/EC

¹Maximum operating pressure and temperature ratings are vessel ratings only. Safe operation will also depend on filter module and gasket use. EPDM assembly seals restrict continuous operating temperature to 130 °C (266 °F). See also Note 3 on Ordering Information tab.

1. SUPRApak L-Series -SA systems are supplied with the following standard accessories:
   1. L-0100, L-0200, L-0210: inlet/outlet butterfly valves (13/14), vent assembly with pressure gauge (6/8), safety valve with drain assembly (16/12/17), downstream drain assembly with pressure gauge (12/18/21), downstream non-return valve (11)
   2. L-0300 and larger units: inlet/outlet butterfly valves (13/14), vertical riser pipe with butterfly valves (15), vent assembly with pressure gauge (6), safety valve with drain assembly (16/12/17), downstream drain assembly with pressure gauge (12/18/21), downstream non-return valve (11)
2. TUV certified housings require TUV rerating when new intermediate segments are added after original supply.
3. For hot fluid filtration (>40 °C / >104 °F), select Hot Fluid Core for the lowest module, and add extension pieces Z1 (1-high section) and/or Z2 (2-high sections) as required.
